What is the dietary life improvement promotion member (healthmate)?
We provide food education and health promotion volunteer activities for children and the elderly. About 60 healthmates are active in Sakae Ward.
Activities
We are volunteering for food education and health promotion for children and the elderly.
・Participate in local events
Experience how to hold chopsticks correctly for children with a meal balance check, "bean kobi game"
・Introducing recipes at inhabitant of a ward festival
Demonstration of vegetable dishes that can be easily cooked
・Courses for Seniors
Meal balance check, measure salt content of miso soup, introduction of oral exercises
・Lecture for child care mom
Introduction of recipes with plenty of vegetables and baby food tips
・Workshops for members (lectures, cooking training, etc.)
※In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, some activities have been suspended.
How to become a member of dietary life improvement promotion (healthmate)
You will be able to act as a health mate by attending seminars (8 times in total) held in Health and Welfare Center, Sakae Ward. After completing the prescribed process, you can act as a health mate.
Training courses will be announced on the Sakae Ward website, public relations, etc.
