What is the Water Source Eco Project W-eco p?

Purpose

The Water Source Eco Project W-ecop (hereinafter referred to as "Wickp") is an initiative to develop a water source forest in Doshimura, Yamanashi Prefecture, which is owned by City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau (hereinafter referred to as "Water Works Bureau").

Overview

  • Donations
    As a general rule, the amount based on the agreement should be donated to Water Works Bureau based on 300,000 yen / hectare per year (3 hectares or more for 3 years). The donation will be used for part of the water source forest maintenance (thinning) costs.
  • Development of watershed forests
    Utilizing donations paid by companies and organizations, we will carry out conservation work in the watershed forest.
  • Activities
    During the agreement period, we will publicize the names and activities of companies and organizations through publicity in Water Works Bureau's public relations media (websites, leaflets, etc.) and events (Water Week events, etc.).
    Companies and organizations can use this information to promote and promote SDGs activities, such as the experience of the watershed forest conservation.

Signboards with the names of companies and organizations are installed at "Michi-no-Eki" and "Niisatozuka Pocket Park" in Doshi Village.
