Subsidies for domestic wastewater treatment business

As of 2000, domestic wastewater treatment facilities in Michishi Village had door-to-door septic tanks, but there were no facilities such as sewers, and most of the septic tanks were single septic tanks for human waste, and other household wastewater treatment was hardly performed. In order to properly treat domestic wastewater, the village has formulated the “Basic Plan for Domestic Wastewater Treatment” to install a combined septic tank for each house, and started the “Doshimura Domestic Wastewater Treatment Project” in 2001.
In starting this project, Motoichi has concluded an agreement with the village on a domestic wastewater treatment project in order to achieve the water quality conservation of the Doshi River, the water source.
Since the start of the project, the village and Motoichi have been reviewing plans and agreements several times to achieve the purpose of the project, and recently, in 2018, the number of installation bases was 626 in FY2018, and the planning period was Reiwa We have made the fourth change of the basic plan up to 5 (2023).
