W-eco-p (Wi-Cop) Activity Report FY2019 (FY2019)

Tsukui Co., Ltd. conducted a Michishi Village tour for employees' families. Lectures on “Water Source conservation Activities” in watershed forests and commemorative tree planting were held.

Kiyomitsu Co., Ltd. conducted a tour to Michishi Village for employees and employees. In Michishi Village, Water Works Bureau gave lectures on Doshi Water Source Forest and experienced thinning.

Tokyo Gas Ecomo Co., Ltd. conducted a tour to Michishi Village for job offerers. In Michishi Village, Water Works Bureau gave lectures on Doshi Water Source Forest and made piles using thinned wood.

YOKOHAMA Save The Water 2019 was held at Mosaic Mall Port North. On the 4th floor of the building, wood chips were grabbed and coasters were made using thinned wood from Doshi, and on the 1st floor, monuments were set up using logos from partner companies and organizations of WiCop to promote water source conservation activities. At the end of the event, water was sprayed at the front entrance of Mosaic Mall Port.

For six days from Friday, August 2 to Wednesday, August 7, we participated in "Keikyu Eco Week" held at Hag Kumi Park on the fifth floor. On Monday, August 5, Water Works Bureau was in charge of the project, entitled "Let's make an original room plate with thinned wood!"

City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau exhibited PR booths in the fifth round, following the second round in May at the Automotive Race (Super GT) hosted by GT Association Co., Ltd. at Fuji Speedway. In August, watering was also performed.

We had a meeting in the conference room in City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau. We also reported on the activities of Water Works Bureau and presented our common novelty, which was gathered at last year's round-table conference.

The Water Works Bureau booth (Ecomo Forest) was exhibited at Ecomo ReHome EXPO, sponsored by Tokyo Gas Ecomo Co., Ltd. We distributed wood chips made of thinned wood from Doshi Water Source Forest and promoted the conservation Water Source Forest.

Bridgestone Co., Ltd. conducted a tour to Michishi Village for family members. In Michishi Village, after conducting classes on Doshi Water Source Forest by Water Works Bureau, we carried out tree planting, scarecrow making, pruning, and woodworking with thinned wood.

City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau exhibited a PR booth at the Automotive Race (Super GT) hosted by GT Association Co., Ltd. at Fuji Speedway. At the booth, we introduced PR of the water source conservation and "Hamako Doshi The Water". At the SUPER GT Official Stage, we also introduced PR of the water source conservation and initiatives of GT Association Co., Ltd.

FANCL Co., Ltd. conducted training for new employees in Michishi Village. Through thinning and tree planting experiences, I learned about the watershed forest conservation.

Metawater Co., Ltd. conducted training for new employees. We visited Aoyama sedimentation pond and Kawai Purification Plant and learned the flow of tap water from raw water.
