Recently, the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza has been confirmed at multiple locations in Japan, and the nationwide response level for bird surveillance has been raised to "Response Level 3", and monitoring of wild birds has been strengthened. ※ October 15, 2024 Press Release of the Ministry of the Environment (outside site)
If you are dealing with birds, please check "About highly pathogenic avian influenza" and pay attention to breeding management.
July 25, 2024
"Ordinance for Enforcement of the Ordinance on the Protection and Management of Yokohama City Animals" was revised and came into effect on July 25, 2024.
As a result, the animal handling officer's card has been abolished, and it is no longer necessary to attach a photo of the face during various procedures, so please be careful when proceeding.
