Type 2 Animal Handling Business

In order to conduct the second-class animal handling business as a business, it is necessary to submit a notification of the second-class animal handling business.
Please notify Health Sanitation Division, Health and Welfare Center, where the breeding facility is located.

Target animals: Mammals, birds, reptiles (excluding experimental animals, livestock animals, etc.)

1 There must be a breeding facility (*1)

3 Handling a certain number of animals (*2)

　※1 Breeding facilities
　　　Oh, it is said that it is "facility that can be classified as part to be used for human residence", and in addition to having dedicated buildings, rooms, etc., in cages, etc.
　　　　　Including those that are classified.
　　　B. It is said that "excluding facilities that are temporarily entrusted and kept for breeding and storage." For example, members of animal welfare organizations, etc., at each home.
　　　　　It does not correspond to breeding facilities when temporary custody is performed.
　　　(C) When a facility with the registration of the first-class animal handling business performs the same type as the first-class animal handling business as the second-class animal handling business,
　　　　　You don't need to submit a report.

　※Types and Numbers of Major Animals
　　　　Total number of large animals and specified animals = 3 or more
　　　　Total number of medium-sized animals = 10 or more
　　　　Total number of small animals = 50 or more

When handling multiple types, the sum is added even below the large, medium, and small standards, and if it is higher than the smaller standard, it falls under the Type 2 Animal Handling Business.
Example: Large + medium = 10 or more, large + medium + small + small = 50 or more.

In order to ensure the proper breeding of the animals to be bred, the necessary facilities are provided in the breeding facility, and it is mandatory to prevent escape, secure a clean breeding environment, and prevent noise.
In addition, from June 1, 2020, a second-class animal handler that transfers dogs and cats is required to keep books on animals (preserved for 5 years).

We do not accept applications by mail or other means.

There is no charge.

　　One copy will return the reception stamp after seal. Please refer to "Remarks" on the back of the application form.

2 Certificate of entry (in the case of a corporation), driver's license, health insurance card, resident certificate, my number card, etc. (in the case of an individual)

（８） Temporary storage of animal corpses

（11） Air conditioning equipment (excluding outdoor facilities)

（13） Training grounds (limited to those that conduct training at breeding facilities)
