In order to conduct the Type 2 animal handling business as a business, it is necessary to submit a notification of the type 2 animal handling business.
Please report at the Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division, where the breeding facility is located.

Target animals: Mammals, birds, reptiles (excluding experimental animals, livestock animals, etc.)

1 There must be a breeding facility (*1)
2 Non-profitability
3 Handling a certain number of animals (*2)

　※1 Breeding facilities
　　　Oh, it is said to be "facility that can be classified as part used for human residence", and in addition to special buildings, rooms, etc. are provided, cages, etc.
　　　　　This includes those that are classified.
　　　B) It is said that "excluding facilities that are temporarily entrusted and stored." For example, members of animal welfare organizations, etc. are located at each home.
　　　　　In the case of temporary custody, it does not correspond to breeding facilities.
　　　C) If a facility that has been registered as a Type 1 animal handling business conducts the same type of business as the first-class animal handling business as a Type 2 animal handling business,
　　　　　You don't need to submit a report.

　※2 Types and Number of Major Animals
　　　　Total number of large animals and specific animals = 3 or more
　　　　Total number of medium-sized animals = 10 or more
　　　　Total number of small animals = 50 or more

When handling multiple types, they are added together even if they are below the standards for large, medium, and small, and if they exceed the smaller standard, they fall under the Type 2 animal handling business.
Example: Large + medium-sized = 10 or more, large + medium-sized + small = 50 or more

In order to ensure the proper breeding of animals to be bred, it is obligatory to provide necessary facilities in breeding facilities, prevent escape, secure a clean breeding environment, and prevent noise.
In addition, from June 1, 2020, a second-class animal handler who transfers dogs and cats are required to prepare animals books on animals (preservation for 5 years).

　　Two copies are required for each type of business.
　　One letter will be returned after seal. Please fill in the form referring to "Remarks" on the back of the application form.
　　"Transfer" and "loan" also require a method of conducting the second-class animal handling business (Form No. 11 4 separate paragraph) (PDF: 184KB).
