What is Center Recycling?
Center recycling is a collection of recyclable materials carried out by the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Isogo Office.
You can bring in resources such as recycle paper and plastic containers and packaging.
(kitchen garbage, moving garbage, pruned branches, etc. cannot be brought in.)
Day and time that can be brought in
From 9:00 am to 11:30 am and from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm from Monday to Saturday (Open on public holidays)
(Please be within the above time due to the entry and exit of collection vehicles.)
※We will not be able to keep it after 4:00 p.m.
You can't bring it in the afternoon on December 30. (in the morning only)
※Closed from December 31st to January 3rd.
When you come to the agency, please contact the reception desk on the second floor.
Items collected
Cans, bottles, PET bottles (cans and glass bottles, PET bottles containing food and drinks (including drinks))
Used batteries
Small metals (the longest part is less than 30cm)
Spray cans (If the contents remain, please contact the office in advance)
non-burnable garbage (Pottery, Glass, fluorescent lamp, Soil) ※LED bulbs (non-glass) are burnable garbage.
Plastic containers and packaging (with plastic mark)
used cloth (* Not allowed to bring in → dirty, torn, cotton, futon, wet)
recycle paper (newspapers, magazines, other paper, cardboard, paper packs)
Items that cannot be collected
Please note that the following items cannot be collected by center recycling.
burnable garbage
Please take it to the collection site you are using.

oversized garbage

Business-related waste
Business-related garbage is not collected in Yokohama City, so please request disposal from a licensed supplier from Yokohama City and dispose of it properly at your own risk.

Air conditioners, televisions, electric refrigerators, electric freezers, electric washing machines, clothes dryers

What is the collection of small household appliances?
Yokohama City collects and recycles small home appliances in order to recycle useful metals contained in small home appliances.
Usage time
It will be during the opening hours of each facility.

Special collection boxes have been installed at the above three locations.
Target items
Products that operate with electricity and batteries less than 30cm in length, entering a 30cm x 15cm slot.
Example of eligible items: Products such as mobile phones, digital cameras, game consoles, personal computer peripherals, personal computers, cords, etc.
※fluorescent lamp, light bulbs and batteries are not eligible.
※Be sure to remove the removable battery and put it out in a yellow collection can (small rechargeable battery recycling box).
Notes
Do not put small household appliances in bags, etc., but put them in the collection box as they are (bags will hinder recycling).
Products that have been put in once cannot be returned.
Products containing personal information (PCs, mobile phones, smartphones, etc.) must be erased before putting them in the box.
Remove batteries, light bulbs and fluorescent lamp before inserting them.
Parts and cords of small household appliances such as adapters can be put out at once.
Do not put anything with a strong odor (electric kerosene pump, etc.).
