What is Center Recycling?

Center recycling is a collection of resources carried out by the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Isogo Office.
You can bring in recyclables such as recycle paper and plastic containers and packaging.
(kitchen garbage, moving garbage, pruned branches, etc. cannot be brought in.)

Days and times when you can bring in

From 9:00 am to 11:30 am, 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm from Monday to Saturday. (Open on public holidays)
(Please note that due to the entry and exit of collection vehicles, please do so within the above time.)
※Please note that you will not be able to keep it after 4 p.m.
You will not be allowed to bring your own in the afternoon on December 30. (In the morning only)
※Closed from December 31st to January 3rd.
If you come to the office, please contact the reception desk on the 2nd floor.

Items to be collected

Cans, bottles, plastic bottles (cans containing food and drinks (including swallows) and glass bottles)
Used Batteries
Small metal (the longest part is less than 30 cm)
Spray cans (if the contents remain, please contact the office in advance.)
non-burnable garbage (pottery, glass, fluorescent lamp, soil) ※LED bulb (made of non-glass) is "burnable garbage".
Plastic containers and packaging (with plastic mark)
used cloth (* Cannot be brought in → Dirty / torn, cotton, futon, wet)
recycle paper (newspapers, magazines, other paper, cardboard, paper packs)

Items that cannot be collected

Please note that the following items cannot be collected by center recycling.

burnable garbage
Please serve the collection site you are using.
When the amount is large, please refer to "When you want to throw away a large amount of garbage at once due to moving or rearranging belongings".

oversized garbage

Business-related waste
As business-related garbage is not collected in Yokohama-shi, please ask supplier who received permission from Yokohama-shi for disposal, and please dispose of appropriately at your own risk.

Air conditioners, TVs, electric refrigerators, electric washing machines, clothes dryers
Please refer to the page on "How to put out air conditioners, TVs, refrigerators / freezers, washing machines / clothes dryers" for products subject to the Home Appliance Recycling Law.

What is Small Home Appliance Collection?

Yokohama City collects and recycles small home appliances in order to recycle useful metals contained in small home appliances.

Usage time

It will be during the opening hours of each facility.

Items to be covered

A product that runs on electricity or batteries with a length of less than 30cm in length that enters a 30cm x 15cm.
Example of target items: Products such as mobile phones, digital cameras, game consoles, personal computer peripherals, personal computers, and codes.
※fluorescent lamp, light bulbs and batteries are not eligible.
Be sure to remove the battery that can be removed and put it out in a yellow collection can (small rechargeable battery recycling box).

Precautions

Do not put small household appliances in bags, etc., but put them into the collection box as they are (bags will hinder recycling).
Products that have been put in, cannot be returned.
For products that contain personal information (PCs, mobile phones, smartphones, etc.), delete personal information before putting them in the box.
Remove batteries, light bulbs, and fluorescent lamp before inserting.
Parts and codes of small household appliances such as adapters can be put out together.
Do not put anything with strong odor (electric kerosene pump, etc.)
