Environmental Business Promotion Committee

Position: He is a committee member recommended by Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association and commissioned by the mayor. It is a volunteer leader who promotes overall environmental business in each region, focusing on resource recycling initiatives (garbage reduction and recycling), beautification of the city, and promotion of decarbonization.
Term of office: 2 years (from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2025)
Organization: Several Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations form the District Liaison Council and the District Liaison Council.
Scope of activities: The main activities are activities in the Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association, but there are also activities involving district and ward promotion committee members.

I would like to introduce the main activities of the Environmental Business Promotion Committee.
The following is an example, and although the activities differ depending on the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, we contribute to the local community through various activities.

Together with the officers of Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, we will promote awareness at the collection site.
・Attach a list of collection days and enlightenment posters to the collection place to disseminate information.
・We circulate and distribute flyers related to separation enlightenment and garbage disposal manners.
・At the time of garbage disposal in the morning, call out the manners of sorting and garbage disposal at the collection point.

Cleaning the town together with the officers of Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations.
With many people including environmental business promotion committee, we perform clean-up event such as station square or park.

Together with the collection office, we call for 3R actions through games and crafts.
We call for the separation of garbage from local festivals.

Together with the collection office, we will conduct educational activities.
About consultation of accumulation place or trouble such as illegal dumping, we bridge with collection office.
