System structure
local recyclables collection is a collaborative project in which citizens, businesses and governments play their respective roles and work on reducing and recycling garbage.
This section describes the roles of each and the structure of the incentive grant system.

Collection of recyclables is carried out based on voluntary contracts between the registered organization and the registered trader (not a commissioned collection by Yokohama City).
- Role of Registered Organizations
- Contracts with registered companies, discharge of recyclables, notification of collection to participating households, confirmation of the amount collected for proper application, application for incentives, etc.

- Contracts with registered organizations, collection of recyclables, delivery to resource wholesalers, confirmation of the amount collected for proper application, application for incentives, etc.
- The role of the government
- Grants of incentives, confirmation of the amount collected for proper application, etc.
For the purpose of reducing and recycling garbage and forming a local community, Yokohama City will issue a subsidy for resource recovery implemented by registered organizations and registered traders.
Incentives will be issued to each registered organization and registered companies according to the amount collected.
Implementation of collection
Collection is carried out based on the agreement between the registered organization and the registered trader (collection date, item, location, etc.).
Issuance of Measurement Certificate
The registered trader (or registered organization) brings the collected recyclables to the wholesaler and issues a measurement certificate.

Formulation of collection slip
A collection slip is created based on the quantity of measurement certification.
Application for incentive money
Registered organizations and registered companies submit scholarship application documents to Yokohama City (monthly).
Scholarship Examination
Yokohama City examines scholarship application documents based on measurement certification.
Grants of incentive money
Yokohama City grants incentives to registered organizations and registered traders (monthly).
