1 Overall System

(1-1) When building a building or a structure on this (specific) site, is it necessary to apply for the Landscape Act and Landscape Ordinance?

Currently, only the following four districts require notification and consultation based on the Landscape Act and the Landscape Ordinance.

The types of activities that require procedures vary depending on the district. For details, please refer to the window guide flyer (for areas that require notification and consultation) (PDF: 250KB).
For areas other than the above, procedures for the Landscape Act and the Landscape Ordinance are not required.

2 Landscape Plan

Yokohama City has designated the entire city as a landscape planning area.
Currently, only the following four districts (landscape promotion districts) that require notification.
