Formulation of landscape planning and urban landscape consultation districts-Minato Mirai 21 Shinko District-

Utilizing Akarengasoko and other historical assets, the Minato Mirai 21 Shinko area aims to create a unique urban area where you can feel unique as an island.
We reconfirmed the efforts to create cityscapes in the Shinko district so far, and based on the spirit and results, formulate a landscape plan based on the Landscape Act and a cityscape consultation district based on the "Ordinance on Creation of Attractive Urban Landscapes in Yokohama City" And came into effect on January 1, 2010. (Announced on July 24, 2009)
When we perform acts such as buildings in area, "report by scenery law" and "consultation application by the regulations" are necessary beforehand.

●Yokohama City Ordinance on Creation of attractive cityscapes (Landscape Ordinance):
It is an ordinance established for the purpose of realizing a high-quality city that attracts people, where the individuality of the area and the rich ideas of citizens are harmonized by creating attractive cityscapes. （→ Ordinance text (outside site)）
●Urban landscape consultation district:
Based on the regulations about creation of attractive cityscape of Yokohama-shi, we established policy to create area and attractive cityscape, guideline (act guideline) of design about act. In district, company and Yokohama-shi perform creative discussion based on pre-determined policy and action guidelines established in advance and aim at creation of high-quality cityscape.
●Scenery Act:
In order to form a good landscape in cities, Noyama fishing villages, etc., the basic philosophy, the responsibilities of the country, local governments, etc. can be determined, and local governments can independently determine landscape plans and landscape agreements. （→ To the homepage of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Landscape Act (outside site)）
●Scenery plan:
Based on the Landscape Act, we will determine policies for the formation of areas and good landscapes, standards for the construction of buildings (landscape formation standards), etc., according to the local landscape formation. When we perform construction of building in area, report to Yokohama-shi is necessary.
