What is a Newborn Hearing Test?
This is a screening (sorting) test performed during hospitalization after childbirth to detect hearing abnormalities. Pain-free and safe, can be tested while the baby is sleeping, ending in a short time.
It is said that 1-2 in 1,000 babies have a problem with hearing (hearing) by nature, but finding abnormalities early and receiving appropriate treatment and support will affect language development etc. It has been shown that the effect on is minimized.
There are two types of tests: AABR (automatic hearing brainstem reaction) and OAE (screening earacoustic radiation), both of which were made for newborn hearing screening, so you can receive it with confidence. I can do it. The test method differs depending on the medical institution to be tested, so follow the instructions of the medical institution and try to receive it positively.
