Yokohama City Single-parent Family 2024 University Examination Fee Subsidy Project

[Applicable to those who meet all of the following requirements]

1. The age of the child in the university entrance examination fee subsidy must be under 20 years old.
2. Those who have received Child Raising Allowance for children who have taken the university, etc. at the time of payment of the examination fee (including partial suspension of payment).
3. Those who live in Yokohama City at the time of payment of the examination fee and at the time of application for support money
4. After paying the examination fee between Monday, April 1, 2024 and Saturday, March 15, 2025, the child must pay a university, junior college, vocational school (specialized course) and college of technology (4 years) Those who have taken one or more of the time)

Up to 53,000 yen per elementary school studenｔ per person
(Note 1) The total cost paid as an examination fee when taking a university, etc. (It does not include examination fee, entrance fee, transportation fee, transfer fee, etc.)
(Note 2) You can apply regardless of pass/fail.
(Note 3) If the total amount exceeds 53,000 yen per child, it will be 53,000 yen.

Please prepare a copy of the documents proving the payment of the examination fee and a copy of the applicant's (Recipient of Child Raising Allowance) identification documents (My Number Card, Driver's License, Health Insurance Card, etc.)

※You can upload the data (photos, PDFs, etc.) of documents certifying payment of entrance examination fees for universities, etc. on the system, enter required items, and apply.

Alternatively, download a paper application form (PDF: 133KB), create a document, and submit a copy of the document certifying the payment of the examination fee at the university, etc., together with a copy of the identity verification document, 6-50-10 Honcho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Child and Youth Bureau Children's Home Division University, etc. by mail.

Only one application will be made per eligible elementary school studenｔ person. If there is more than one examination fee to be applied, please prepare all copies of documents certifying payment of the examination fee at the university etc. before applying.

Applicable to the University Admission Common Test Transfer Payment Invoice and Receipt paid between April 1, 2024 and March 15, 2025, receipts, copy of the online transfer screen, etc.
Make sure that the school name, the amount of the examination fee, the examinee (or payer) and the date of receipt are listed.

Please submit the examination card with your name and the application guidelines that clearly indicate the applicable examination fee.

In this project, in order to assist the actual paid university entrance examination fee, if the examination fee has not been paid for recommendation or internal enrollment, etc., it will not be eligible.

You can use the paper application form and apply. Download the paper application (PDF: 133KB) and submit it to the city hall within the application deadline.

Please send us an electronic application system or application form. We examine in Yokohama-shi from one month to two months and send bill to person who decided with notice of decision. Please write required items on the invoice and send it to Yokohama City. Payment will be made within 30 days from the day after the invoice arrives in Motoichi.
