About revision of school lunch fee of Yokohama-shi

Food prices are soaring, and we will revise them from the lunch fee in September 2018 to implement school lunch that meets the necessary nutritional value.

• School lunches are aimed at maintaining and improving health by taking appropriate nutrition.
• In Motoichi, the price was raised last time in 2009, and lunch fees have been deferred since then.
• Since 2014, the price of ingredients has risen, and in order to maintain the necessary nutritional values set by the government, adjustments to reduce the cost of purchasing ingredients, compensation by the Yokohama City School Lunch Cost Adjustment Fund (*), etc. We are responding.
