Please tell us about sign language service and interpreter training courses.

Seminars are held for sign language volunteers and those who aim to become sign language interpreters. The sign language service training course has an introductory and basic course, each of which is about 11 months from April. Sign language interpreter training courses include Interpreter I, II and III courses. Interpreter I is a course for about 11 months from April, and Interpreter II and III is a course for about 8 months from April. About offer, we publish in public information Yokohama January issue. Those who have completed the Interpreter II and III courses and have passed the Yokohama City Sign Language Interpreter Registration Examination (Sign Language Interpreter Nationwide Examination) will be involved in interpreting activities as a Yokohama City Registered Sign Language Interpreter.
