In Yokohama City, there is a system called a guide volunteer, in which paid volunteers provide attendance for people with disabilities and attendance for children with disabilities to attend school, and 22 office handling organizations support volunteer search. I am.
In addition, the Japan National Council of Social Welfare in the 18 wards has set up a “Mobile Information Center” as a consultation desk for mobility, and introduces and coordinates volunteers. In addition, at each ward volunteer center, we introduce volunteers not only when going out.

Those who are eligible

Those who live in Yokohama City and fall under any of the following
(1) Physically disabled children / persons in grades 1 to 6, visually impaired children / persons
(2) Children with intellectual disabilities
(3) Children with mental disabilities
(4) Patients in incurable disease, etc. (including elementary school student) subject to the Comprehensive Support for Persons with Disabilities Act, who are equivalent to (1)

Usage fees

Free. However, for actual expenses such as transportation expenses required during the guide, the user will also bear the guide volunteers.
