Asbestos measures in public buildings
Last update date April 10, 2024
For facilities that were designated as “facility in enclosed state” or “facility that do not require immediate measures” in the fact-finding survey, proper maintenance is performed, such as measuring the amount of floating amount every year, and facility renovation Measures will be implemented accordingly.
For facilities under the jurisdiction of Port and Harbor Bureau, we will report the results of floating measurement as shown in the table below.
Facilities under the jurisdiction of Port and Harbor Bureau
Location | Name of the facility | Room name | Spraying status |
---|---|---|---|
1-1, Honmokufutou, Naka-ku | Honmaki Wharf LFS shed | 1st and 2nd floors | Behind the ceiling |
Daikokufutou, Tsurumi-ku premises | Daikoku Futo Skywalk | Lounge, Entrance | Behind the ceiling |
A "facility in an enclosed state" means that the place of use is sealed behind the ceiling and the spraying material is relatively less harmful (approximately 5% or less, 2% amosite). In the future, this facility will carry out appropriate maintenance, such as measuring the floating amount every year in principle in the future, and measures will be taken at the time of facility renovation.
Regarding the Daikoku Pier Skywalk, the property of the facility is owned by City of Yokohama, Road and Highway Bureau, but since the City of Yokohama, Port and Harbor Bureau manages and operates it as a facility for accepting cruise ships.

About 10 bottles), ", and it is stated that there is no effect on health.
The lower limit of quantification is a numerical value set by the measuring body in the measurement, and there are differences from each institution.
