About entrance method to restricted area from July 1, 2014

 In the restricted area of public facilities (conventional and RORORO) where City of Yokohama, Port and Harbor Bureau is the wharf security manager, confirm the identity, affiliation, and purpose of all persons who intend to enter the restricted area from July 1, 2014 (3 points confirmation).
 For this reason, we ask that you understand and cooperate with the following matters when entering the restricted area.
 Please note that if you cannot confirm the three points, you will not be able to enter the restricted area.

What is the difference?

 Based on the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Notification No. 251 (March 30, 2010), the following three points will be confirmed for all persons who intend to enter the restricted area from July 1, 2014. .

  1. Identity verification: Confirm your identity by collating the ID card with a photo, etc.
  2. Affiliation confirmation: Confirm the business to which you belong to by using the information on your ID card
  3. Objective confirmation: Confirm the purpose of entry by checking the carry-out slip, etc.

About suspension at entrance in restricted area

Stopping at the entrance in the restricted area

 Please be sure to temporarily suspend when you enter the campus and present your ID card to the security guard at the entrance of the restricted area to confirm with your ID card.

Abolition of restricted area entry and vehicle traffic cards

 Due to the implementation of the three-point confirmation, the “Restricted Area Entrance Certificate” and “Vehicle Pass Certificate” issued by the City of Yokohama, Port and Harbor Bureau have been abolished on June 30, 2014, so the “Restricted Area Entrance Certificate” and “Vehicle Pass”.

About PS (port security —) card

 We recommend using a PS card that allows you to confirm your identity, affiliation confirmation, affiliation confirmation, and purpose confirmation at once as an identification card to confirm three points. Please apply for and obtain.
 In addition, since certain requirements are required for applying and acquiring a PS card, please check the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism website (outside site) for details.

For those who do not have a PS card

 When entering the restricted area, in order to confirm three points, in principle, present the security officer an identification card that can identify the person and affiliation, such as an employee ID card with a photo of his face, and a carry-out slip that can confirm the purpose of entry. In addition, it is necessary to fill in the ledger with your name, affiliation, purpose of entering the campus, etc. in the ledger, and receive a temporary entry permit.
 Please note that if you are unable to confirm the establishment and purpose to which the person entering the restricted area belongs in any way, you will not be able to enter the facility without lending a temporary entry permit.

How to enter "Container Terminal" at Yokohama Port

 For information on how to enter the container terminal at "Honmaki Pier", "Daikoku Futo" and "Minami Honmoku Pier" at Yokohama Port, please contact the administrator of each container terminal.
