Aiming at the early realization of a metropolitan system "Special City" suitable for Yokohama City, the "Yokohama Special Self-Government City University Rule" (March 2013) that summarizes the background and necessity of a special city, outline of the system, processes, etc. Formulated in March 2021) was revised based on trends surrounding special cities and announced as "Yokohama Special City University Rule".
