Yokohama City is planning to develop the site of the former Yokohama Customs Yamate Dormitory (99-4 Yamatemachi, Naka-ku, Yokohama, etc.) as an expansion of the Harbor View Park (Minato-no-Mieru Oka Koen) through the "Symbol Green Creation and Development Project."
Excavations of buried cultural properties for maintenance revealed the building foundation of the former U.S. Navy Hospital was discovered.
We plan to backfill the park from March 2022 for future park maintenance and preservation of archeological sites, but we will inform you of the materials of the survey results.
