Establishment of the Medical Manga Award, which changes the viewpoint

Yokohama City is working on a “medical perspective” project that carries out medical publicity in a manner in cooperation with private companies, etc., so that citizens can regard medical care as themselves rather than “other person”. .
With the aim of improving communication gaps related to medical care using manga, we will launch initiatives for the “Medical Manga Awards,” a manga award that draws “differences” based on episodes experienced by patients and healthcare professionals.
At the talk session to be held at BankART Station from 17:30 to 19:00 on Monday, September 30, there will be Yohei Sadojima (Cork / Editor) as well as judges. Many manga artists and healthcare professionals will be on stage and talk about the possibilities of medical care and manga.
