Traffic Safety Measures Project Utilizing Big Data

As an initiative to start the “Traffic Safety Measures Project Utilizing Big Data”, since the release of the “Child and Traffic Accident Data Map” in March, local communities including the School Zone Countermeasures Council. This time, as a hardware measure for these four schools, traffic accident data provided by the Kanagawa Prefectural Police and the speed analysis results of ETC 2.0 provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to visualize potential traffic danger points. And formulated an effective traffic safety measure plan.
