Since June 2022, Yokohama City has been conducting the “Yokohama City Wide Area Share Cycle Project Social Experiment (hereinafter referred to as “Social Experiment”) with the aim of complementing the functions of public transport and promoting the formation of a decarbonized society. In the northern and southern areas of the city, Yokohama City, OpenStreet Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “OpenStreet”) and its partner San Autus Co.
On Saturday, June 10, 2023 Yokohama City, OpenStreet and Sun-Otas will work together to establish a share cycle port with an ultra-compact EV share service port in Tsurumi Ward.
By opening a port that can be used by combining the share cycle service implemented in social experiments with the ultra-compact EV share service developed by Sun-Otas, we aim to respond to the diverse mobility needs of local residents and visitors and improve mobility convenience.
