May is designated as a bicycle month according to the Bicycle Utilization Promotion Law.
The Metropolitan Area Bicycle Safety Use Measures Council, which consists of nine prefectures (Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Yokohama, Kawasaki, Chiba, Saitama, and Sagamihara) during the bicycle month In addition, the period from Monday, May 1 to Wednesday, 31st is called "Kyuto Prefectural City Simultaneous Bicycle Manner Up Enhancement Month".
In Yokohama City, we will work on enlightenment of rules and manners, including wearing helmets for bicycle riding, which became a duty of effort from April.
