We have created a barrier-free basic concept around Odoriba Station

Based on the Barrier-Free Law, Yokohama City is working on the creation of a basic barrier-free concept around stations. We have recently created a basic barrier-free concept for the area around Odoba Station, located on the border between Totsuka Ward and Izumi Ward.
In preparing the project, we set up a “District Subcommittee” consisting of local residents, welfare-related organizations, academic experts, businesses, government officials, etc., and conducted “Machi Walk Inspection and Workshops” and “Barrier-free Information Recruitment” from October 2020, such as the implementation of the project, while reflecting the voices of local residents, and worked on creating a basic concept.
