We have created a basic concept for barrier-free areas around Odori Station.

Based on the Barrier-Free Law, Yokohama City is working to create a basic barrier-free concept around the station. We have created a new basic concept for barrier-free areas around Odori Station on the border between Totsuka Ward and Izumi Ward.
In preparing the project, we set up a “District Subcommittee” consisting of local residents, welfare-related organizations, academics, businesses, government officials, etc., and provided “Town Walk Inspection and Workshops” and “Information on Barrier-Free Information” From October 2020, we repeated examinations while reflecting the voices of the local community, and worked on the creation of a basic concept.
