At around 16:30 on Thursday, February 23, 2023, a heavy machine operated by a male worker (63 years old) fell into the river channel while moving the surplus soil at the site of the second-class river Imai River repair work . Immediately, a male worker was transported to the hospital by ambulance, but death was confirmed at 18:30 on the same day.
