At around 16:30 on Thursday, February 23, 2023, heavy equipment operated by a male worker (63 years old) fell into the river channel while moving surplus soil at the site of the second-class river Imai River renovation work . Immediately, a male worker was transported to the hospital by ambulance, but his death was confirmed at 18:30 on the same day.
