May is designated as Bicycle Month according to the Bicycle Utilization Promotion Act.
In conjunction with the Bicycle Month, the Tokyo Metropolitan Area Bicycle Safety Use Countermeasures Council, which consists of nine prefectures (Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Yokohama, Kawasaki, Chiba, Saitama, and Sagamihara) The period from Sunday, May 1 to Tuesday, May 31 is designated as "Kine Prefectural City Simultaneous Bicycle Manner Up Enhancement Month".
In Yokohama City, we will work on enlightenment so that it will be a key to reconfirm the rules and manners for safe and comfortable use of bicycles for citizens.
