Yokohama City has been working on traffic safety awareness through the Traffic Safety Campaign and Strengthening Month. Looking at the traffic accidents during 2021, the percentage of motorcycle accidents accounted for a higher incidence rate than in Kanagawa Prefecture (28.8%).
