[Announcement of Contract Results] [Open call for proposals] FY2023 Yokohama Tourism Lep Business Outsourcing in the United States
In Motoichi, due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection, the number of tourists from Japan and abroad has decreased significantly, and the amount of tourism consumption has decreased. We set the target of tourism consumption in 2025 at 402.6 billion yen per year, aiming to increase tourism consumption by acquiring inbound tourists and promoting migration and revitalizing the local economy. To strategically and effectively attract visitors from the United States, which has a large number of foreign guests in Yokohama and the number of flights to and from Haneda Airport, to Yokohama, and board a cruise ship that departs and arrives at Yokohama Port. In order to promote accommodation and excursions in the city, we will set up a “sightseeing rep” based in the United States, and promote sales proposals to Yokohama in the local area.

Those who can propose and propose for this proposal shall be those who can properly carry out sales and promotions to increase the number of visitors to Yokohama in the United States and meet all of the following requirements:
(1) Being listed in Yokohama-shi general competitive bidding participation qualified person list of Reiwa 3.4.
(2) Those who have high expertise in the tourism business and have a track record of inbound tourists from one of the national, local governments, or equivalent organizations (tourism associations, DMOs, etc.) in the past five years.
(3) Those who can open a tourism rep office in California, USA during April 2023.

◆Notification of proposal qualification confirmation result
Among those who have submitted the application form for participation, those who have been qualified for the proposal and those who have not been accepted will be notified in writing of that fact and the reason therefor.

If you are qualified for the proposal, please check the contents of the related materials carefully and submit the proposal.
