Emergency Guarantee for Reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake
- From April 1, 2013, only businesses that had offices in the affected area before the earthquake are eligible. . (until March 31, 2025)
The Great East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Emergency Guarantee is a guarantee system to support small and medium-sized enterprises that are hindering their management stability due to the effects of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
(Article 128, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Special Financial Assistance and Subsidies for Dealing with the Great East Japan Earthquake)
As a general rule, by obtaining the certification of the mayor of the head office location (in the case of a sole proprietorship, the location of the business on the tax return), up to 80 million yen unsecured in a separate frame from the normal guarantee frame and safety net guarantee frame You can apply for a guarantee of 200 million yen and secured.
(Note) Apart from certification, the execution of loans is subject to examination by financial institutions and credit guarantee associations.
