No. 6 Certification (bankruptcies of financial institutions)

Certification requirements

Please refer to the website (external site) of the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency for details on failed financial institutions designated by the government.

You must meet all of the following requirements at the same time.

  1. There must be a business establishment in Yokohama City.
  2. There must be a balance of loans to bankrupt financial institutions designated by the government. (Draft discount is not applicable.)

  1. Documents (copying is acceptable) that can confirm the business situation in Yokohama city and the borrowing situation at the time of the latest report

    • Corporate
      • Certificate of all history items ※Up-to-date items within three months of issuance
      • The latest set of income tax returns
    • Sole proprietors
      • The latest set of blue tax return financial statements or a set of income tax returns (those that indicate that the tax office has accepted it based on receipt, e-mail details (in the case of electronic filing), etc.)

※Final income tax returns include all of the borrowings on the cover, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, “Breakdown on borrowings and interest paid” or “Cash statement on accounts”


  1. Loan balance and borrowing period confirmation documents from bankrupt financial institutions (All of the following documents are required.) A copy is acceptable.
    • “Balance Certificate” issued after the date of bankruptcy and within one month prior to the date of application for certification.
    • Repayment (redemption) Schedule
    • Contracts for borrowing money loan contracts, etc.

※All borrowings subject to the application amount are required.


  1. Application for Certification

Application method

We recommend that you apply for a proxy by a financial institution. Please ask the financial institution that provides consultation on loans.


Window application (reservation required)

  • Please make a reservation in advance from the window reservation application form, and tell us the "name (or company name)" of the reservation at the reception.
    ※We do not accept applications on the day. In addition, if you arrive at the counter after 15 minutes of reservation time, we will not be able to accept it.
  • In the case of an application for collective agency by a financial institutionList of agency applications (Excel: 70KB)(2 copies) Please bring it with you.
