About Yokohama-shi scenery plan and change of Kannai-District, Minatomirai 21 central district, Minatomirai 21 Shinko district city landscape consultation district (December 15, 2022)

In Yokohama City, taking advantage of the enforcement of the Landscape Act in 2005, the "Yokohama City Ordinance on Creation of Attractive Urban Landscapes (Landscape Ordinance)" was adopted in 2006, and the "Yokohama City Landscape Plan" in 2008. We devised and promoted maintenance of good cityscape by report based on scenery law and formation of attractive cityscape by discussion based on scenery regulations.
In July 2022, we formulated the "Guidelines for the Formation of Night Landscapes of Yokohama City" in order to make the night scenery of the city's coastal area more attractive.
Along with this, the Yokohama City Landscape Plan and Kannai-District Minato Mirai 21 Central District, so that we can coordinate with the rules of the landscape plan and the cityscape consultation district, and to operate the system that reflects the "Yokohama City Central Coastal Area Night Landscape Formation Guidelines" We change Minato Mirai 21 Shinko district cityscape discussion district.
The following statutory procedures were implemented as follows:

"Yokohama City Landscape Plan" and "Kannai-District City Landscape Consultation District", "Minato Mirai 21 Central District Urban Landscape Consultation District" and "Minato Mirai 21 Shinko District Urban Landscape Consultation District" have been changed as follows.

• Landscape planning

Based on the Landscape Act, we will determine policies for the formation of areas and good landscapes, standards for the construction of buildings (landscape formation standards), etc., according to the local landscape formation. When we perform building of building in area, report to Yokohama-shi may be necessary.

• Urban landscape consultation district

Based on the regulations (landscape regulations) about creation of attractive cityscape of Yokohama-shi, we established policy to create area and attractive cityscape, guideline (act guideline) of design about act. In district, based on pre-determined policy and action guidelines, company and Yokohama-shi perform creative discussion and aim at creation of high-quality cityscape.
