About Yokohama-shi scenery plan and change of Kannai-District, Minatomirai 21 central district, Minatomirai 21 Shinko district city scenery consultation district (December 15, 2022)

In Yokohama City, following the enforcement of the Landscape Act in 2005, the “Yokohama City Ordinance on Creation of Attractive Urban Landscapes (Landscape Ordinance)” was formulated in 2006, and the “Yokohama City Landscape Plan” was formulated in 2008. We have been promoting the maintenance of good urban landscapes through notifications based on the Landscape Act and the formation of attractive urban landscapes through discussions based on the Landscape Ordinance.
In July 2022, we formulated the "Yokohama City Central Seaside Night Landscape Formation Guidelines" in order to make nightscapes in central coastal areas more attractive.
Along with this, the Yokohama City Landscape Plan and the Kannai-District / Minatomirai 21 Central District / Minatomirai 21 Central District / Minatomirai 21 Central District / Minatomirai 21 Central District / Minatomirai 21 Central District / Minatomirai 21 New Port District Urban Landscape Consultation District will be changed.
The following statutory procedures were carried out.

"Yokohama City Landscape Plan", "Kannai-District City Landscape Consultation Area", "Minato Mirai 21 Central District Urban Landscape Consultation Area", and "Minato Mirai 21 Shinko District Urban Landscape Consultation Area" were changed as follows.

• Landscape plan

Based on the Landscape Act, we will determine policies for the formation of areas and good landscapes, standards (landscape formation standards) for building buildings, etc., according to the local landscape formation. When we perform construction of building in area, report to Yokohama-shi may be necessary.

• Urban Landscape Consultation Area

Based on the regulations (landscape regulations) about creation of Yokohama-shi attractive cityscape, we established policy to create area and attractive cityscape, guideline (act guideline) of design about act. In district, company and Yokohama-shi perform creative discussion based on policy and act guideline that we established beforehand and aim at creation of high-quality cityscape.
