Terminology	Explanation
Demolition work	Demolition of buildings (total floor area of 80 m2 or more)
New construction and extension work	New construction or extension of buildings (total floor area of 500 m2 or more)
Repair and remodeling work	Repair and remodeling of buildings (contracted amount of 100 million yen or more)
Civil engineering, etc.	Construction of structures other than buildings (contracted amount of 5 million yen or more)
Demolition work less than 80 m2	Demolition of buildings (total floor area of less than 80 m2)

Others
Terminology	Explanation
Reception number	When the registration form / Notice is received, a “Notification / Notified Seal” stating the receipt number is issued. The seal will be affixed to the sign posted by the contractor at the construction site.
Construction site	The construction site is listed in the lot number or house indication.
Scheduled construction start date	In private construction, it is necessary to notify at least 7 days before the start of construction, and in public works, it is necessary to notify before construction starts. Preparatory work may be carried out before construction starts.
