Procedure for notification of Construction Recycling Law

Orderers or independent builders of construction work subject to the Construction Recycling Law to be constructed in Yokohama City must submit the following documents to the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau Business Waste Management Section Administration Section at least 7 days before the start of construction.
A notified seal will be given at the time of reception, so construction contractors should attach it to the margin of the sign posted on the site.
There is no fee for submission of registration form.

2. Appendix (plans for separation and dismantling, etc.)

Attach the applicable construction type in Appendix 1 to 3. If there are more than one, please attach all applicable items.

3. Power of Attorney (No attachment is required if submitted by the ordering party or the independent builder)
4. Map (Estimated scale: 1/1500)

Please attach a map that shows the location of the construction (for demolition work, the location of the target building, etc.).

6. Blueprints of buildings, etc. or current photo

• In the case of demolition work: Color photographs (about 1 to 2 sheets) that show the entire building to be dismantled or structures other than buildings
• In the case of new construction and extension work of buildings: Layout plan, floor plan of each floor, elevation (when building multiple buildings as a series of construction by building sales, etc., it is acceptable to attach only one representative building for each floor plan and elevation view. However, please note that the layout drawing is required for each building. )
• In the case of construction work such as repair and remodeling of buildings: Drawings that understand construction details (renovation, repair, building equipment construction, etc.)
• In the case of construction of structures other than buildings (excluding demolition work): Blueprints or construction outline, etc. that understands construction details

Oh If you want to start on the 8th of the month, January 1 will be 7 days before construction starts. These 7 days include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, and the closing days of the year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3).
If 7 days before the start is a weekend or a public holiday, please submit it until the immediately preceding opening date.
Please note that construction start includes temporary work for the construction.

If public works ordered by a national institution or a local government is the target construction work, please submit a letter of advice (one copy for each copy) before the start of construction. In addition, a notified sticker will be issued at the time of reception, so please attach it to the sign posted at the construction site.
