Procedure procedures for testing and research using industrial waste

The treatment of industrial waste for the purpose of business and the installation of a certain scale of treatment facilities require a license for the industrial waste treatment business or specially managed industrial waste treatment business and a permit for the installation of industrial waste treatment facilities. However, when using industrial waste for testing and research, the “Ministry of the Environment Notification * 1” does not require permission for these businesses and permission to set up treatment facilities.

In addition, the prefectural governor or the head of a designated city, etc., will request the person conducting the test research to submit a plan for the test research and research in advance. .
These guidelines stipulate how to submit a test research plan that each business operator must submit in advance when conducting test research using industrial waste, and other necessary procedures.
