 Originally, the company that left the waste must clean it up, but if the company does not have the funds, the landowner or land manager may eventually clear the waste .
 In order to prevent such a situation beforehand, when making a land lease agreement with a company that stores waste or a company that is expected to store it, please note the following items. .

1.Matters to be noted before land lease agreements

  • When making a land lease contract, if it is expected that waste will be brought into the land, make sure that you intend to store the waste.
  • When making a land lease contract with a company that stores waste, the amount of storage stipulated in the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law (7 days of the average daily amount carried out at the storage location) Do not store the above waste. " Take measures to minimize damage even if the company leaves the waste, take measures to minimize damage.

2.Matters to be noted after a lease agreement on land

  • To prevent waste from being stored improperly, take thorough management such as strengthening the look of the land.
  • If it is confirmed that the waste is stored improperly on the land (such as a sudden increase in waste), immediately listen to the situation from the business operator and request that the waste be cleared, and business-related waste Please contact the measures section.

3.Other considerations

  • If you are currently making a land lease contract with a demolition contractor, make sure that the land is being used in accordance with the contract details.
 If you find that waste is stored even though the purpose of use of the land has been contracted as a material storage area, etc., it is desirable to take measures such as reviewing the contract contents and requesting removal of waste. It is.

  • When making a lease contract for land with an area of 300 square meters or more with a company that stores waste generated due to construction work, etc., a report that the company will store waste in Yokohama City Please check if you have done.
