How to enter the date in the industrial waste management slip (manifest) associated with the reform
Last update date April 1, 2023
The reform was carried out on May 1, 2019 (2019). In response to this, please take the following measures regarding the handling of industrial waste that has already been described and printed as "Heisei" in the industrial waste management slip (hereinafter referred to as “manifest”).
The relevant location in the manifest
- Date of delivery column
- Transportation end date column
- Date of disposal end column
- Final disposal end date column
Description method
After May 1, when writing and printing the date on the manifest, one of the following methods shall be used. In a single spelling manifest, be careful not to use any description or printing that may cause confusion, such as avoiding using the Christian era notation and the era.
In the case of English notation
- "May 1, 2019" while leaving the description of "Heisei" remains.
- Delete the description of "Heisei" with double lines, etc., and set to "May 1, 2019".

In the case of era name notation
- "May 1, 2019" while leaving the description of "Heisei" remains.
- Delete the description of "Heisei" with double lines, etc., and set to "May 1, 2019".
- "May 1, 2019" while leaving the description of "Heisei" remains.
- Delete the description of "Heisei" with double lines, etc., and set to "May 1, 2019".
- With the description of "Heisei" remaining, "R May 1, First Year" is left.
- Delete the description of "Heisei" with double lines, etc., and "R May 1, First Year".
- "R1 May 1, 2009" while leaving the description of "Heisei"
- Delete the description of "Heisei" with double lines, etc., and it is assumed to be "R1 May 1, 1".
