To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system, the Nishi Ward mascot character Nishi-Maro-chan (hereinafter referred to as "Nishi Ward") and the Nishi Ward logo mark to celebrateNishi Ward's 80th anniversary.

We are looking for a logo design that promotes the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system, which is familiar to many inhabitants of the city, in line with the aim of Nishi Ward 80th anniversary commemorative project.

1. Please use either Nishimaro-chan or Nishi Ward logo mark without changing the design (Nishimaro-chan pose can be changed).
2. Please use numbers and words that show at a glance the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward constituency in 2024 (6).
3. Please make it in color, but please consider that it may be used in single color or monochrome.
4. Please note that the Executive Committee will create an official logo design based on the adopted logo design proposal as the draft.

We will provide the design data of "Nishimaro-chan" and "Nishi Ward Logo Mark" to applicants. Please note that the data provided cannot be used for any purpose other than the logo design proposal (see "9 Data Provision").
You can draw by hand or freehand without using illustration data, but do not make any major modifications (if you can determine that you are Nishimaro-chan, you do not need to cut the whole body). In addition, when the executive committee creates an official logo design, it may look like Nishimaro-chan.

　For the 80th anniversary of the constituency system in 2024, inhabitants of a ward, company, group, ward office work together to develop approach to celebrate the anniversary. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we will work to further strengthen regional connections and create bustle with the aim of realizing Nishi Ward's basic goal of "a town where everyone can feel happy and happy."

• First selection [Late June (planned)]
  • Entries will be reviewed by the Executive Committee, and several candidate works will be selected.
• Second screening (general vote) [late June to early July (planned)]
  • We perform electronic voting or vote in ward office for works selected in the first selection and select the top three points.
• Third selection [mid-July (planned)]
  • The best work will be determined by the executive committee from the top three points of the second selection.

• The best works will be announced on the Nishi Ward public relations paper and on its website, and only the winners will be notified in writing.
• If you are awarded, the name of the winner, the name of the municipality where you live, and the age (age) may be announced. In addition, in the second screening (voting), the age of applicants, their thoughts on Nishi Ward, episodes with Nishi Ward, etc.
• The works selected as the best works will be used for PR such as the creation of banners, and will also be used when widely disseminating Nishi Ward's 80th anniversary commemorative project both inside and outside the city.

1. Please submit works that are self-made, unpublished, do not use AI, and do not resemble pre-made logo designs.
2. Up to two points per person (one group), and one application form per point.
3. Any design or language that is unrelated to the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward constituency system, which uses political or religious design, language, or language, violates laws and regulations or public order and morals, or otherwise impair the image of Nishi Ward are not subject to selection.
4. Entries will not be returned.
5. The exhibition fee is free, but all expenses such as postage required for application will be borne by the applicant.

10. The copyright, secondary use, commercialization rights, public transmission rights and all other rights of the selected works belong to the Executive Committee and the Nishi Ward Office.
11. Winners shall not exercise their moral rights by the Executive Committee and the Nishi Ward Office.
12. The winner, the Executive Committee, and Nishi Ward Office shall enter into a copyright transfer agreement with the contents of 10 and 11 above, provided that they have been selected as the highest award. ※Please note that we will not pay the contract fee for the highest award or the monetary fee for use in this contract.
