The logo design to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system has been decided!
The Executive Committee of the 80th Anniversary of the Nishi Ward Organization has solicited proposals for a logo design to promote the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system. From Friday, June 23, 2023 to Tuesday, July 11, nine works selected by the executive committee from the 345 works collected, and 2,314 votes were gathered. The Executive Committee selected one of the three top works.

Congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the constituency system. We are very pleased and grateful for the adoption of the logo mark. Nishi Ward is often visited on business. The blue image of a ship and bay area floating in the port of Yokohama, expresses the historic Nishi Ward. We designed a warm logo that connects people and the connection between people and the community with lines 8 and 0, and we designed a warm logo that welcomes Nishimaro-chan's smile. With this logo, I hope that you will be excited about the 80th anniversary.
Reasons for selection and future utilization
The members of the executive committee made a written vote on the three points that were ranked in the voting, and the highest number of votes were obtained. The committee members commented, "The sea and ship reminiscent of Yokohama, Nishi Ward's mascot character" Nishimaro-chan "and the" West "logo mark are well fused." It will be used in various events to be held in Nishi Ward.
Supplementary prize
The creator will receive a pair dinner ticket for the all-day dining "Cafe Tosca" on the 2nd floor of Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu (2-3-7 Minatomirai) as a supplementary prize.

About sending the participation prize to logo design applicants
A "Nishimaro-chan goods set" will be presented to 24 people by lot from those who have applied for the logo design proposal. Shipment is scheduled for early August. Winners' announcements will be replaced with the delivery of the gift. Thank you very much for your participation.
