Last year we received the COVID-19 pandemic, and I think everyone's anxiety and worries were exhausted.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, local festivals and events were cancelled.
We held a cousin project to bring the smiles and energetic appearance of those who are continuing their activities.

This year, we will continue to make infectious disease measures the most important initiative of the ward, and we will promote the creation of a safe and secure environment.
In addition, we will formulate the fourth phase of the Nikomachi Plan, a comprehensive plan for Nishi Ward.
We will support the creation of local plans and the use of ICT that contributes to local activities that have been carefully continued.

Regarding the “Insects Sound Meeting” and “Nishi Ward People's Festival”, which were canceled last year.
I would like to take measures against infectious diseases firmly and implement them.
In cooperation with "Garden Necklace Yokohama" and a shopping street stamp rally, so that everyone can visit and enjoy the Nishi Ward with peace of mind.
We will promote activities such as beautification of hospitality with companies.

In addition, this year, the Kanagawa University Minatomirai Campus will open. We took this opportunity to cooperate with the university.
We will strive to create new developments such as multicultural coexistence, regional promotion, and the promotion of SDGs.
