November is Child Abuse Prevention Promotion Month.
In recent years, many people may feel that they have heard cases in which their young lives have been lost due to corporal punishment or abandonment of childcare.
Child abuse is caused by various factors surrounding a child-rearing family.
In order to prevent child abuse, it is important to have a deep interest and understanding of child care and child abuse, not only parents raising children but also schools, nursery schools, and local people.
Every year, Nishi Ward Office displays a child abuse prevention awareness panel at the ward office on the first floor of the ward office. This year, the event will be held from November 2 (Mon) to 13 (Fri), so please drop in.

The Child Welfare Law was amended in April this year, and corporal punishment was banned for discipline.
Abuse leaves a large wound on the child's mind and body.
The important thing is that all harmful to the child is abuse, even if an adult intends to "discipline."

Protecting children from abuse requires your "awareness" and "courage" to contact the ward office and children's guidance office.
If you encounter a scene that seems to be abusive, please contact us immediately without hesitation.
Even if it is not abusive, the person you contact will not be held liable.
