Vaccinations

In Yokohama, the Vaccinations guide documents and a pre-examination card will be sent to your home, starting from 2 months old, 1 year old, 3 years old, 9 years old, 11 years old, and 1 year before entering elementary school, and before entering junior high school (* from 2022).

Grants to medical expenses

Medical Certificate for infant (Subsidies for Medical Expenses for Pediatric Treatment)

When a child whose Address is located in Yokohama and joins employee health insurance receives a medical institution due to illness or injury, this system subsidizes a portion of insurance medical treatment according to age.

Chronic Specific Diseases

Fostering Medical Care

Part of the medical expenses when a child under the age of 18 undergoing treatment to reduce or remedy physical disability at a designated medical institution.
This is a system in which public expenses are paid.

Child care for premature infants

medical expenses is funded by public funds for baby/infant (0-year-old children) who need to be hospitalized due to poor physical development due to low weight or premature birth (with a gestational age of 37 weeks).

Check ups for Infants and Toddlers in medical institutions

Use the consultation slip (medical institution Check ups for Infants and Toddlers consultation card) bound in the spelling of the medical examination ticket handed when the Mother and Child Health Handbook was issued.
You can receive three Health Checkups free of charge at medical institutions.
