This section introduces specialist organizations and support systems that can provide consultation on renovation, rental and local utilization of vacant houses. Please refer to the section in charge of each system for use.

As a countermeasure for the city's vacant houses, etc., we have created the vacant houses Distribution and Utilization Manual, which summarizes the systems related to the utilization of vacant houses. Examples of utilization of vacant houses and other support systems are also posted.

Dispatch of professional counselors for utilizing vacant houses
In cooperation with real estate-related organizations and non-profit organizations that have concluded an agreement on measures such as vacant houses with the city, we dispatch free counselors such as residential land and building dealers and architects to support vacant houses lease contracts, renovations, and creation of business plans.

Matching system for utilizing vacant houses
This system provides a bridge between owners of vacant houses and other cities in Yokohama and organizations and businesses looking for bases for local activities, and provides opportunities for dialogue. Please feel free to contact us if you have an open space in vacant houses for which you have not decided how to use it, or if you are an organization that wants to work in the community.
4.I would like to use subsidies to repair vacant houses
Subsidies for renovation of vacant houses (local contribution type)
For the purpose of promoting the establishment of “facilities that contribute to regional revitalization (child care support facilities, elderly support facilities, co-working spaces, etc.)”, we will support the renovation costs of vacant houses (construction costs for interior and exterior, seismic retrofitting costs). Those who are eligible are local organizations and businesses such as Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and NPOs. Reception will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be closed when the budget for the relevant fiscal year is reached.

Subsidies for renovation of vacant houses (local contribution [simple renovation] type)

Those who are eligible are local organizations and businesses such as Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and NPOs. Reception will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be closed when the budget for the relevant fiscal year is reached.
