Condominium Residential Association Survey

In Yokohama City, we are conducting a survey aimed at grasping the actual status of management of condominiums in the city. The survey results will be compiled and analyzed and used in future support measures for condominium Residential Association.

Survey in FY2024

Survey period

From November 2024 to January 15, 2025

Survey target

  1. Built in 1984 (40 years old), 6 or more condominiums
  2. Condominiums that were determined to require a re-examination of the management system and situation in the survey up to last year (for construction before 1983).
  3. Condominiums that have not responded to the survey up to last year

We asked about the activities of Residential Association, the accumulation of repair costs, and the implementation of large-scale repairs.

Survey target

Condominiums built before 1983 and in the city more than 6 units

Questionnaire survey items

Required items
Whether or not there is a Residential Association, whether a general meeting or board member is held, whether there is a management agreement, issues facing Residential Association (selection type), etc.
Optional items
Percentage of vacant dwelling units and rental, storage of design documents, preparation of minutes of general meetings and board member, etc.

※2 As a result of scrutinizing condominiums with unknown destinations, one case was reduced.

※4 As a result of scrutiny of rental apartments, etc., the number decreased by 14.
※5 Of the unanswered condominiums in FY2020, condominiums in Naka Ward, Nishi Ward, Minami Ward, Konan Ward, Izumi Ward and Seya Ward
※6 The number of newly surveyed condominiums increased by one.
※7 As a result of scrutinizing 7 demolitions, rental apartments, etc., and 2 condominiums with 5 or less units, the number decreased by 9.
※8 Of the unanswered apartments in Hodogaya Ward, Asahi Ward, Isogo Ward, Kanazawa Ward, Kohoku Ward, Midori Ward, Aoba Ward, Tsuzuki Ward  , Sakae Ward and Totsuka Ward.
※9 The number of newly surveyed condominiums increased by six.
