Initiatives in FY2022

  • Yokohama Tomioka Photo Festa 2022 Spring (March to June, Reiwa 4)

      In the Tomioka Information Platform and Base Creation Project, a leading project for regional revitalization.
      We held a photo contest for Tomioka district. Approximately 400 entries were submitted.
      As a result of strict screening, excellent works selected from the submitted works are displayed in the second waiting room of Tomioka Pharmacy.

  • Ookamachi Hiroba (Tomioka District) held (April 2022)

      “Vacant House WANTED! This is a project to create bases around the town.
      We held an event utilizing empty spaces and parks in the Tomioka area.
      ■vol.1 Venue: Hamato neurology clinic parking lot

           


      ■vol.2 Venue: Hamato neurology clinic parking lot, Tomiokanishi Park
            In vol.2, two venues can be moved back and forth with an electric small cart. 

             

  

  • Holding a good thing Marche (Nokendai district)

      The “Minna no Kendai Mirai Base Project,” a leading project for regional development.
      We held an event utilizing a vacant lot (former Keikyu Service site) in the Nokendai district.

            

  • Issuance of Community Development Communication (No. 5: September 2022, No. 6: March 2023)

Initiatives in FY2018

  • Concluded a partnership agreement (July 2018)
    In the suburbs of Yokohama City, the population is declining and aging, and various issues such as enhancement of services that support life, securing local transportation, and maintaining communities have become apparent. We are working on initiatives to realize a suburban area where we want to live and want to continue living.
  • Demonstration experiments using electric small, low-speed vehicles (October 2018)
  • Workshops in the Nokendai District (January to April 31, 2019)

Town Development Workshop (STEP0 to STEP2)

STEP0 (January 2019 to April 2019)

Workshop STEP0


With the cooperation of the Nokendai District Union Neighborhood Associations officer, a workshop was held to draw the charm, issues, and ideal image of the town.

STEP1 (February 2020 to October 2020)

Venue: Tomioka Community Care Plaza / Nokendai Community Care Plaza (3rd only, Yokohama City University Piony Hall)
Participant: Residents of the Tomioka and Nokendai area and those who work in the same area, Yokohama City University students

Workshop STEP1


Participants gathered by open call for participants in both Tomioka and Nokendai districts shared the charm and issues of the town, and drew the ideal image of the town. Based on that, I thought about the seeds (idea) of town development where the community, government, companies and universities could work together.

STEP2 (November 2020–February 2021)

Venue: Tomioka Community Care Plaza, Nokendai Community Care Plaza and written in writing
Participant: Residents of the Tomioka and Nokendai area and those who work in the same area, Yokohama City University students

Workshop Workshop STEP2


In order to make the ideas of town development considered in Step 1 into a concrete plan, share the process for realizing the plan, the roles played by the four main actors of the region, government, companies, and universities, and how to relate that individuals can do, etc. I deepened the idea while sharing.

Community development round-table conference

It is held as a place for regional representatives, store associations, academic experts, experts, the government, and Keikyu Electric Railway to discuss the direction of town development, the basic attitude of initiatives, and initiatives such as workshops.
It is scheduled to be held as a place for information exchange and promotion of town development through collaboration among the four parties.
