About urban regeneration emergency maintenance areas
Last Updated April 19, 2024
The “Urban Rehabilitation Emergency Development Area” is the Special Measures for Urban Regeneration (hereinafter referred to as the “Law”) enacted in April 2002. In this area, as a base for urban regeneration, it is an area specified by a Cabinet Order as an area where urban development should be promoted urgently and intensively through urban development projects.
The “Specific Urban Renewal Emergency Development Area” was established by a partial law revision in April 2011. Promotion of maintenance is an area specified by a Cabinet Order as a particularly effective area for strengthening the international competitiveness of cities.
