Survey of dioxins in soil (FY2023)

This page describes the results of the survey on dioxin concentrations in soil conducted in FY2023 (FY5).
Outline of the survey
In Yokohama City, for dioxins in the soil, the entire city was divided into five districts this year, and one point was selected from each district and surveyed. We are pleased to announce that the results of the survey are now available.
Survey points and methods
The survey points were selected for parks with bare land of a certain area suitable for sampling, and were collected and analyzed in accordance with the "Soil Survey and Measure Manual for Dioxins (Ministry of the Environment: March 2022).

From September 14 to 15, 2023
Survey results
The concentration of dioxins in the soil at five locations in the city conformed to the environmental standards of 1,000 pg-TEQ / g at all points.
