Business Overview
Tsuruyabashi Bridge a bridge that connects 2-chome Tsuruya-cho, Kanagawa-ku and Minamiko 1-chome, Nishi-ku, and spans the Katabira River Branch Canal Aratama River
Over fifty years have passed since the completion of the old bridge, Tsuruyabashi Bridge was aging. In addition, the number of pedestrians a day was very large, about 50,000, but the sidewalk was narrow and hindered traffic, so replacement work was carried out.
After the replacement, the sidewalk was widened, the earthquake resistance and flood control safety were increased, and the bridge was reborn as a safe and secure bridge.

Introduction of construction status
1.Construction of temporary work yards and temporary sidewalk
In order to remove the old bridge, a temporary work road and a temporary sidewalk that will be a detour for pedestrians will be constructed.

2.Removal of old bridge
Remove the superstructure (bridge girder / floor slabs) and substructures (piers / abutment) of the old bridge.

3.Construction of substructure
The substructure (abutment) of the new bridge will be constructed.

4.Manufacture and installation of superstructures
A new bridge superstructure (bridge girder / floor slabs) will be manufactured and installed at the site.

5.Removal of temporary yards and temporary sidewalk
After installing the superstructure of the new bridge, the temporary work yard and the temporary sidewalk that will be a detour for pedestrians.

The new Tsuruyabashi Bridge is completed by paved on and around the bridge with asphalt.
