Progress of Construction

This project started substructure work in 2019 and is under construction with the goal of completing it in 2029.
In December 2021, we switched roadway traffic to the temporary bridge installed downstream, and started removal work on the existing bridge.
Removal of the existing bridge was completed in May 2023, and construction of a new bridge will be started in 2023!
Please see "Sueyoshi Bridge News" for details of construction progress.

Business

Business Overview

Sueyoshi Bridge is located on the prefectural road Tsurumi Mizonoguchi, designated as an emergency transportation road, and is an important bridge over the Tsurumi River. The up lane (upstream side) was constructed in 1950, and the down lane (downstream side) was constructed in 1964.It is hindering safe traffic.
From this, in order to replace it, we proceeded with investigation, design and consultation with related organizations as a joint project between Yokohama City and Kawasaki City from 2015, and started substructure work from 2019.
