The Ohashi Bridge, which spans the Ooka River, a second-class river in Konan Ward, has been completed for more than 70 years since its completion in 1936, has been severely damaged by aging, has a narrow width of 2 m, and is difficult for vehicles to pass. Shimbashi opened on September 24, 2014.
